How a custom car silhouette is drawn and cut
2026-10-08
You upload a photo of your car or bike and pick a view: front, back, side, or sideways. Classic keeps the outer shape. Detailed keeps the lamps, the gaps and the wheels. Side views can face left or right at no extra cost. The starting price is the 600 mm side plate in matte black.
We do not cut from the photograph directly. A person draws a silhouette that can actually be cut from one sheet, which means thin parts have to stay attached to the plate. That drawing is the digital proof. It is free. One or two revisions are included, so say what is wrong in plain language: the wheel is too small, the roof rail is missing, the nose should be longer.
After you approve the proof, the plate is nested, cut, deburred and coated. Then it ships with standoffs. If you reject the proof entirely, we have not ordered your steel yet. That is the point of doing the drawing first.
A good photo is daylight, the whole vehicle, no other car across the wheel. A showroom brochure crop is harder than a slightly dull phone photo of the real thing, because we would rather draw the car you have.
